Thank You 2012 Loopers!

Thanks to all the 2012 Loop the Lake for Literacy cyclists and sponsors! So many of you have given great comments about your experience and have already made plans to be with us again next year. We will hope to set the date soon. Except for the weather(!), all seemed to go smoothly. Some of you have made good suggestions on ways to further enhance the event and we really appreciate those because we want to make each year better than the year before.

Congratulations to the following:

Team Glades won the trophy for Team with the Highest Fundraising!

Michael Fuller with FPL won the trophy for the Individual with the Highest Fundraising!

Team Lynn University received the trophy for the Team with the Highest Number of Athletes.

Thanks for your support for literacy. As you could see from the adult learners and preschool children from the Coalition's Glades Family Education Program present at the lunch, you are supporting a very worthy cause. Your registration will help children, youth and adults gain the reading and literacy skills they need to succeed in school, work and life.

Some of you have asked about jerseys. You can still order a jersey. Just send a check for $99 to the Literacy Coalition at: 551 SE 8th St., Suite 505, Delray Beach, FL, 33483. Give us your name, address and jersey size. We will post a size chart for jerseys on Loopthelakeforliteracy.org.

You can continue to make donations through the web site, or you may mail checks made out to the Literacy Coalition to the Coalition at:  551 SE 8th St., Delray Beach, FL 33483.  For further information, call the Coalition at (800) 273-1030.

We hope to have photos of the event on the web site soon. More than 3,000 photos were taken so we will work through these as quickly as possible.
