LOOP THE LAKE FOR LITERACY is an exciting opportunity for cyclists to support literacy work while riding in a beautiful environment on the shores of Lake Okeechobee, the largest lake in Florida. This event, and the literacy programs it benefits, will foster economic development in the Glades area. The Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County assists more than 30,000 adults, youth and children gain the skills they need to succeed in school and in the workplace. One of the key Coalition programs is the Glades Family Education Program, located in Belle Glade and serving the Tri-City Glades area.
